MSR-2 Relocation of MSR-2 Dock

On 11 May 2021 the operation of towing the MSR-2 dock from Świnoujście to Szczecin took place. It was apart of the Shipyard Modernization Plan adopted by Morska Stocznia Remontowa "Gryfia" s.a. in 2020. The Plan assumed, inter alia, concentration of production in one location. MSR-2 THE largest dock from the Świnoujście facility is currently the smallest dock in use at the Szczecin site. The dock is located in the Brdowski basin, in direct vicinity of dock no. 3, over a docking depth that has been rebuilt especially for this purpose. After obtaining the necessary approvals and measurements, the first commercial docking took place on 21 May. Sardius, a Dutch-owned ship inaugurated use of the dock at its new location.
