Singapore is the world's leading maritime hub, home to over 200 international shipping groups. For the "Gryfia" Maritime Ship Repair Yard, this is a priority direction in its global expansion strategy. The visit of MSR Gryfia representatives to the Asia Pacific Maritime 2026 (APM) trade fair resulted in establishing key contacts, which were formalized on May 11, 2026, by signing an agreement with Coway Marine Services Pte Ltd. Under this contract, the renowned Singaporean partner will represent the Szczecin-based shipyard and provide marketing and agency services in the Singaporean and Malaysian markets.
Partnering with the best
Coway Marine Services is a recognized brand offering consultancy in ship repairs and the offshore industry, representing the most prestigious shipyards in the world.
"We are pleased to join this professional team of the world’s best shipyards," says Lech Lechmański, Board Member of MSR Gryfia. "We expect these activities to significantly strengthen Gryfia's presence in the region and enable further expansion."
Future on a larger scale
Expansion into Asian markets coincides with the shipyard's key investment – the construction of a new floating dock with a lifting capacity of 24,000 tons, scheduled for commissioning in 2027. This modern infrastructure will allow Gryfia to service even larger vessels from shipowners worldwide.
